Doug Anderson Will be Leaving Signature Sound After 13 Years of Ministry
Doug Anderson has posted a video announcement saying that he'll be leaving Signature Sound after 13 years with the group. Anderson will continue to pursue a full-time solo career.
"Well, of course the last 13 years, we have done everything." says Anderson. "And what an amazing ride it has been. I've actually lived a dream. This is all I've ever wanted to do. And through the platform Ernie has given me, and the platform of this group through being able to step out and do stuff on my own as a soloist, which is something I never thought I'd be able to do; with the success of that and the help of so many friends.....it's just a different season in life."
Doug also talked about his desire to spend more time with his family.
Ernie Haase said in a statement about Doug, "He's my brother, and he's an original member. As much as I'm going to miss him on stage, I'm going to miss him more as a friend. We're travelling buddies....Doug is welcome on our bus at any time. He's a member of Stowtown Records.....I couldn't be happier for him."
Doug's last concert with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will be June 19th and 20th.
In the meantime, Ernie Hasse and Signature Sound will be releasing their brand new StowTown album "Happy People" on May the 5th.
