Transporter legacy is the fourth instalment in the transporter franchise. The film is also in a way meant to be a reboot to the of the first film series. The upcoming film is directed by Camille Delamarre and written by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper and stars Ed Skrein as Frank Martin, the transporter. The French action thriller whose filming began on August 1st 2014 in Paris, France has been scheduled to premiere on March 6^th 2015.

The transporter legacy is based on the trilogy released between 2002 and 2008 starring Jason Statham in the title role. The original storyline was created by a French film director, writer and producer Luc Besson. The film is about a professional driver and courier for hire. The only difference is that unlike other couriers, Frank has no limit to what he can and cannot transport as long as you abide by his rules and pay him the agreed amount. Another aspect of Frank's life that makes him best suited for his job is his martial arts and great command of weapons. This enables him to get himself out of the tightest of spots despite the challenge with which he is faced.

Due to the great success of the trilogy by Jayson Statham, the anticipation the film rises higher and higher by the day as they long for the lovely experience once more. The question that lingers the mind of most fans is whether the latest cast actor Ed Skrein will be able to take up the role and do a brilliant job as did Jason Statham. Though some fans believe that nothing can top Statham's acting we can't say much about it but just wait and see the performance by the new cast. The reboot is also meant to be a trilogy as announced, by Europa Corp and China's Fundamental Film that will be co-producing the film as well s distributing it, in the 2013 Cannes Film Festival
