'The Originals' Season 2 Episode 2: Esther's Wicked Scheme Against Klaus and Elijah: Will Kol Finally Join His Brothers?
While Klaus was searching for the white Oak in "The Originals" which leads to the continuation of "Alive and Kicking" he was shocked when he discovered the truth concerning his parents Mikael his father and mother, Ester who is in another person's body. They returned to carry on their outraged plan against Mikaelson's family.
The plot begins in Cadiz Spain when Kol say no to stay with Original hybrid and with Elijah. While running away from their father who is a ferocious vampire hunter Kol was stabbed by Klaus in the heart using a dagger. From that time on Kol made a promise that a payback will be made in due time.
While Klaus, Hayley, and Elijah were hunting for the white oak, Elijah told Klaus to tell Hayley not to forget her werewolf side to maintain to be able to maintain her human side.
Macel whom Elijah mentored before he became a vampire agreed to his agreement that Original will submit them for the experiment that Macel is doing in exchange of helping them to find the white oak.
Esther urged Kol to befriend Davina, an original witch and spy on her and find her secret weapon. Her secret weapon is her bracelet which she used to control Mikael. Kol found out Davina's secret weapon however he did not divulged it to her mother.
Klaus suspicions began to arouse about the true identity of Cassie which is controlled by his mother Esther. Suspicion began when he was served by Cassie a chamomile tea and called him by the name of Niklaus which his mother fondly used to call him.
The episode ends when Marcel left Elijah with a new vampire, Gia for him to mentor. Klaus met with Elijah and both shared their findings which is their parents are back to carry their plans in ending Mikaelson's family. Kol's allegiance to her mother is waning and now considering the thought of joining their brothers.
The Originals is aired On CW every Monday.
