'Twin Peaks' Sequel Novel: Bestseller Author Mark Frost Brings Readers 25 Years After on 'The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks'
There is something fans of "Twin Peaks" novel can be excited about. Best-selling author Mark Frost has recently announced that a sequel of his book will be out in the market in 2015.
Titled "The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks," the sequel novel will provide readers a deeper understanding and a bigger picture of what really happened on Twin Peaks 25 years after. It will feature the whereabouts of the people when they were last seen.
Basically, "The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks" will hold much jam-packed mystery-solving scenes with its plot basing on the first original story. It will still hold the thrill as every mystery is being unlocked.
Frost, himself, is also excited for his sequel novel, which will be released by publishing magnate Flatiron Books. He claimed that this has been his dream project that will bring to life the other full aspects that exist in Twin Peaks. Frost added that this is something for the old fans of "Twin Peaks" to be happy about as well as those who have just started following the mysteries surrounding the Twin Peaks story.
"The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks" will explore further the murder of Laura Palmer which was mentioned in the "Fire Walk With Me" instalment, Spinoff Online has learned.
With this new project, Frost also highlighted his great partnership with Flatiron Books President Bob Miller. According to Variety, Frost averred that he and Miller "have enjoyed a fantastic fifteen year relationship in publishing."
Meanwhile, come along with the release of the "Twin Peaks" novel sequel is also the "Twin Peaks: Season 3" TV series, which will be aired on Showtime in 2016. It was reported that the third season will hold the storyline of "The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks."
David Lynch and Mark Frost will work together again for the "Twin Peaks: Season 3" TV series, Crave Online reported. The Showtime TV series has been receiving good reviews since it went on air.
After playing the lead role Special Agent Dale Cooper from 1990 to 1991, Kyle MacLachlan might reprise his role in 2016 as he hinted on his Twitter account.
The first two seasons of "Twin Peaks" TV series also starred Michael Ontkean, Madchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Richard Beymer, lara Flynn Boyle, Sherilyn Fenn and Warren Frost among others.
