Sherlock Season 4 Updates: Benedict Cumberbatch is Said to be Working on Some Secret Shows for BBC One and BBC Two

The dashing Benedict Cumberbatch might be up to something before the Sherlock Season 4 premiere. It has been rumored that the star of the show had been secretly filming some shows for BBC one and BBC two, according to Cartermatt.

The next tease that we will get from the sexy detective is a Sherlock Christmas episode by December 2015, which is merely more than a year from now. In retrospect, the show's return could well be by 2016.

Cumberbatch is a busy bee these days, so as his co-start Martin Freeman, who plays Watson. The duo plays major characters in the upcoming third installment of The Hobbit trilogy this December. Aside from that, Cumberbatch has four movies lined up for the later part of this year and next year, namely, Penguins of Madagascar, Magik, The Imitation Game and Black Mass.

Sherlock is shown via BBC One, so there are some speculations on what is he up to with BBC one's sister network, BBC two. There is currently a Facebook post via the BBC on the claims of the secret filming.

If this would be for Sherlock Season 4, the production is way too early to start though. So it could be a documentary or any holiday special for the network.
