'Bill And Ted 3': The Script Is Ready But Some Hindrances Are Stopping It
Keanu Reeves was asked for several times about the constantly changing status of "Bill & Ted 3." The sequel was proposed and started as not happening to maybe happen to back again.
In an interview made by MTV, Reeves said the sequel might not be happening for now. He said that it is close to happening, but not actually happening and added that they were fighting for it, a really good fight. This sounds pretty interesting and hopefully will happen real soon.
"Bill and Ted" is a series of two movies that tells the story about William "Bill" S. Preston Esq. and Theodore "Ted Logan. Alex Winter plays the character of Bill while Keanu Reeves plays Ted. These two metal head slackers travel through time.
"Bill and Ted 1: Excellent Adventure" was released on Feb. 17, 1989. After two years, "Bill and Ted: Bogus Journey" was released in cinemas. Since 2010, the third instalment has been in talks and works. Unfortunately, there is no release date yet.
In 1990, a spin-off animated TV series "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures" was produced. This reprised Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter's roles. In 1991, a second season was released with the absence of the original cast, which was followed by a brief live action TV series in 1992. The popular characters also made it to numerous other media, including a comic book and some video games. Because the Orion Pictures are no longer operational, MM is now the owner of the rights to "Bill and Ted."
Although Keanu is already taking a career upgrade these days, "Bill and Ted" fans are still looking forward to having a new sequel of the movie. This movie actually geared up his acting career in 1989. For Reeves, there are so many conspiracy theories that came out and there a whole thing about it. He added that creating a sequel of a popular previous movie after a few decades is challenging and tough thing to do.
He revealed that the script is ready, but there are some hindrances stopping it from happening. The details about the "Bill and Ted 3" are still shrouded in great mystery.
