Apple iWatch Release Date in US: Exclusive Updates with Model Leaks
When it comes to Apple products, the frenzy and curiosity is somewhat higher than what you would expect. Everyone wants to know when these products will be released, what kind of money will they ask for, and what new technology they have to offer. Quite obviously, it's all the same with the upcoming Apple Watch, touted to have the potential of changing our future, especially when coupled with Apple Pay.
The Apple Watch was unveiled in a special event in California along with iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. At that time, CEO Tim Cook said that the watch will be out in 'Early 2015', but what does it actually mean. According to iGeeks Blog, January seem to be the best time for the release especially after Apple introduces their payment system on Monday.
Notably, Apple Payment system requires special NFC chips, which are not available in any other iPhone expect 6 and 6 Plus. Apparently, these watches have been developed to support iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, and iPhone 5S with the chip to facilitate payment procedure. And as Tim Cook had said 'it's worth the wait'.
Meanwhile, Apple has already revealed that they are busy working on three different watch models, i.e. Watch, Watch Sport, and Watch Limited Edition. The basic version is being developed in cold forged steel and link bracelet, while sport variant offers anodized aluminum, colorful bands, and ion X glass with scratch resistant surface. Limited edition is definitely the most exclusive one made in 18-karat gold and special buckles.
The Watch range starts from $299 for the basic model and goes up to $549 for limited edition. However, Apple has made no official comment on what these watches will cost or the release date of watch in US market.
As for the features, these watches have been designed to work with iOS 8.1 for receiving and answering calls with the help of built-in speaker and microphone. Special touchscreen not only helps answers texts and mails, but also understand gestures.
There are also several available choices for colors, bands, buckles and link. In fact, these watches even work with health applications and track the progress separately.
