Avatar 2 Release Date, Spoilers, Cast, Plot, News and more: Production team begins casting for Avatar sequel

Are you gearing up for Avatar 2 2016 adventure? We bet you are.

Avatar 2 movie, the sequel to the award-winning blockbuster film of 2009 is now making preparations for casting in both New Zealand and America, the two major locations where the movie will be filmed. Expectations are high as it hopes to surpass its predecessor who had earned the title 'highest grossing movie of all time' which raked in more than $3.5B worldwide.

So what's the Avatar 2 plot going to be and what else can we expect?

The director, James Cameron of Avatar 2 is currently busy with his team on putting together a marvelous script and thinking of new technologies to use in the movie. LatinPost reported that Avatar 2, this coming 2015, will start filming in New Zealand. Avatar 2 release date may seem far off but yet two years will pass us by quickly and soon it will be time to fall in line and reserve tickets already.

James Cameron had confirmed in an interview that the sequel will take place in Pandora's Ocean. Also, he stated that it will be less political than the first one. He said that the goal of the film is to create a sense of wonder and connection to the natural world. He hopes that through his film, he can inspire people to make a difference in society.

As for the cast Zoe Saldana will be reprising her role as Neyriti, a completely CG character. Sam Worthington had also been signed on to play Jack Sully again. Even with their characters already on the graves, Stephen Lang and Sigourney Weaver had also been signed on for the sequel. We wonder what roles they would be playing.
