'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Release Date, Cast Star Jason Momoa's Audition Tape Surfaces, Watch Intense Footage Here (VIDEO)

"Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa has had his original audition tape surface online and it is intense! You can see why he was cast in the role of Khal Drogo after watching his audition. Momoa cried out in Haka, an ancestral war dance associated with the Māori people of New Zealand. You can check it out above. 

HBO's hit show "Game of Thrones" has released a stunning special effects reel from Rodeo FX to give fans a behind the scenes look at how the show is created. "Game of Thrones" just won the 2014 Emmy Award to 'Outstanding Art Direction For A Contemporary Or Fantasy Series' and you can see why HERE. 

"Game of Thrones" announced nine new characters that will be joining the show for the upcoming Season 5 at their 2014 Comic-Con panel. Alexander Siddig, Toby Sebastian, Nell Tiger Free, DeObia Oparei, Enzo Cilenti, Jessica Henwick, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, Keisha Castle-Hughes and Jonathan Pryce will all play key roles in "Game of Thrones" Season 5 and they have posted a video with short interviews of each new cast member (you can check out the video above). 

The popular HBO show just finished up its fourth season and fans are already wanting to know what will happen in the upcoming Season 5. A big spoiler for Season 5 is that Lady Stoneheart's death is official and she will not be returning to the show. 

Michelle Fairley, who plays the role of Catelyn Stark or Lady Stoneheart, told Entertainment Weekly that her character will no longer return to the series. "The character's dead. She's dead," she shared sadly.

She added the producers spoke with her and told her that Lady Stoneheart will not be revived in Season 5 or later either. "I knew the arc, and that was it. They can't stick to the books 100 percent. It's impossible- they only have 10 hours per season. They have got to keep it dramatic and exciting, and extraneous stuff along the way gets lost in order to maintain the quality of brilliant show," the actress said. In the book, Lady Stoneheart does make a comeback, which is what Stark is referring to. 

There were rumors that Lady Stoneheart will be revived for next season after actress Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, posted on her Instagram feed. Headey posted a photo on her Instagram that showed several stones arranged in a shape of a heart. 

Another rumors is that Fairley would return as the vengeful Lady Stoneheart and will lead the Brotherhood without Banners on a vengeful blood bath for everyone responsible for the downfall of the House of Stark and the crime at the Red Wedding.

There is no official release date for the premiere of Season 5 of  "Game of Thrones" on HBO but it is expected to start around April 2015 when the fourth season began.
