Amazon recently announced about its upcoming popular Kindle series in September. The 7th generation Kindle Voyage has already been reported as the best-advanced e-reader from the company. According to Engadget, the new Kindle Voyage will be a hit with a high tech design that offers overall scratch resistant flush glass in the front display while the backside will be protected by magnesium coating.

The Amazon Voyage will bring innovative design with brilliant performance. Its dimension will be 7.6m thin and will be very light with 6.5 ounces weight. The Voyage will provide complete paper white display with better resolution and pixel density. The device is expected to have 300 pixels per inch.

The Kindle Voyage comes with advanced page turning facility named PagePress. User will just have to put the thumb on the bezel point and a light touch will turn the page. The Voyage comes in 3G model where Amazon maintains the payment system for the 3G connection as stated in Top Tech.

The price regarding the updated device has caught the eye of tech enthusiasts. According to Entner from Recon Analytics, Kindle Voyage possesses nice improvements but it is still not enough when the new version costs almost $200. He insisted that the updates are narrowly introduced while the price is getting wider. So the update has been accused of over pricing according to audience review.

Hayley Tsukayama mentioned in Washington Post that comparing the Voyage to backlit Paperwhite, Voyage will lead the way surely but he price is too expensive. The Paperwhite costs around $119 while the Voyage has price tag of $200. 

Meanwhile Mr. Farhad Manjoo mentioned in review of New York Times that buyers should not bother about the price much. He indicated that the display of the device justifies the price. If the device is often used for reading, reader will appreciate high quality screen and Voyage simply brings the best screen with great balance of brightness and contrast.
