The 'X Factor' 2014 Update: Stephanie Nala Fails To Impress The Judges, Gets Evicted
Stephanie Nala, a 20-year-old teenager with great talents in singing, heads home after being nailed as the favorite of bookie to be kicked out of X Factor. After gaining the lowest votes, Nala can't change everything and had to leave the competition.
Nala was subject to mixed comments from the judges after her performance of "Call Me" by Blondie. Perhaps, Steph had already foreseen her situation and said that the worst has happened and this cannot get any worse. According to Mirror UK, while Louis Walsh loves everything about Stephanie, Mel B was a bit critical. He said that he thinks that Nala did her best and having said that, he got bored in the middle. He also wanted to take him somewhere else halfway through.
Simon Cowell is also not feeling positive about the performance of Stephanie Nala. He said that the performance is a million times better compared to her performance last week. The only issue is that for him is that she is like half asleep and even when she talks or perform, she still looks like that. Many people responded on the comment of Cowell and said it was a bit harsh. Yet, there are some who agreed with Cowell's comment.
Based on the report of Metro UK, even Simon was a bit surprised when he said his comment to Stephanie because most of the time, he is always very supportive with the contestants. However, Stephanie, who could not do anything but to accept the comment made by Simon, was happy about it even if it is quite hard to take or handle during that time.
Steph has also experienced lots of online abuse and had false accusations about her. That is why she said she have difficulty handling the whole thing. She also added that it is not nice and when tried to turn to Twitter for support, it became worse when there are many bad posts about her. However, she explained at Unreality TV that she understands that not everyone will like her performance and she can't please everybody, especially in the music industry.
