‘HTC pops-up the new Mini’
HTC Desire 820 Mini
'HTC pops-up the new Mini'
HTC has been painting itself at greater platform by brining exceptional phones in the market, though they launch only few phones in the market, compared to their competitors. The Desire series, which include models like 210, 820, 510 and so on, have paved a new way in the android phone market.
HTC Desire 820 made tremendous impact in the market. With its stunning features like 13 MP primary camera and 8MP secondary camera, a 128GB expandable memory storage, 5.5 inch HD display, 16 GB of internal storage, the Desire 820 was the 'phone of the day'. However, priced at around $499, Desire 820 was slightly on a greater side when compared to its other competitors.
However, higher graphs of the HTC Desire 820 made way for HTC Desire 820 mini, which is still a rumour. The Desire 820 mini is expected to be a more streamlined, compressed version of the Desire 820. According to AnTuTu listing, this device will sport a 5-inch 720p display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of in-built storage. The device is expected to be placed on Android 4.4 KitKat version with a 1.2GHz quad core processor.
According to AnTuTu, the physical weight of this devise is approximately around 162.3 grams, measuring 150.1× 72.7×9.6mm, with a Snapdragon 400 or a MediaTek chip.
Getting into the media side of the new Desire 820 mini, it is expected to have an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel secondary camera, International Business Times reported. On the other side, HTC phone offer the best of audio experience, which the upcoming Desire 820 mini would be equipped with.
The HTC Desire 820 mini is expected to be solid phone in the market with such features, though these specifications are not accurate. According to Android Headlines, HTC Desire 820 mini's price at $228 would be a solid offering, presuming HTC decides to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 chip to power this gadget on.
If this is a trend, then the word 'mini' will lose all sense of definition. We rather like Samsung's definition of what a 'mini' is, and maybe Sony's definition for its 'compact' suffix. We also grant that there might not be a lot of mark able terms foe HTC to use in naming a phone model smaller than the original, Android Community stated.
