Google To Pop the Lollipop 5.0 Soon
The new army is approaching the market. Android platform have the best room for the functioning of almost majority of the phones released in the market today.
Android has been coming up with newer versions resonate to the needs and expectations of its users. The Android 5.0 Lollipop is one member in this operation.
Though there has been no official announcement of the new Android L, it is expected to be released this year. However, only a few phones will have the luxury of upgrading or using this platform. HTC has already been in contact, giving the following statement about its forthcoming upgrade to Android L:
"HTC is excited about the new features in Android L and we can't wait to share them with our customers. We are committed to updating our flagship HTC One family as fast as possible. We will begin rolling out updates to the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) in regions worldwide within 90 days of receiving final software from Google, followed shortly thereafter by other One family members and select devices", as reported by Tech Radar.
The Android L is a bag of new features, from display to its processing speed. It is expected to change all the phones, tablets and other electronic devices, by adopting advanced graphics, 3D titles that slide over one another and also access for developer to use this for themselves on their apps. It aims at providing high quality imaging in phones and tablets. Google has a 'new design language' for Android L which is called material. Overall, it's a cleaner style which developers can make use of in their apps, as reported by PC Advisor.
The new Android Lollipop has brought out an enhanced made of notification. The notifications appear on the lock screen, which can be either swiped or tap to open the relevant app.
Looking at the battery capacity of most smart-phone, this version of Android provides for a new saver mode, which will give up-to 90 minutes of extra use per charge (using the Nexus 5 as a test case). The battery section of the settings menu now gives detailed information.
The security lock options have been given modifications, and enables users to unlock their smart-phone when physically near enough to the device. When it comes to the performance, the Android Lollipop supports 64-bit processors and supports higher level of graphics.
Overall, the Android Lollipop is designed to use more of audio input and a 'tailor made' platform for the new generation smart-phones.
