Although the Passport has been primarily manufactured for business users, the Blackberry caters for their home through Blackberry Balance. This allows enterprises to create a secure workspace and it also allows for the installation of personal apps and content.

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor supported by 3GB of RAM. Although it takes time to start up, it is smoothly responsive when up and running. The device has 32 GB internal storage which can be topped up to 128GB via microSD cards. More to that it has a 13-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera.
