Undoubtedly, there is a lot of frenzy around the Apple products especially amongst the users who already use products from the brand. There was a time when Apple was more of a culture and CEO Tim Cook wants to bring that time back by improving technology and providing every kind of device that people might want.

In this procedure, Apple had unveiled its new iPad Air 2 few days back and was even accepting preorders soon enough. However, many people still want to know if it is really hitting the stores this year and if so, what will be the expected release price in 2014.Well, according to 9 to 5 Mac, both iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 should be shipped by today or tomorrow and they should also reach the stores in a matter of couple of weeks. In fact, T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T will soon be making official announcement on providing these tablets. However, it should be noted that Apple has made no official announcement on a release date and these can shift according to the number of preorders and availability in the market over the next couple of weeks.

As far as the prices are concerned, users can expect it to be around $499 for the basic model while prices for original Air will drop down by around $100 to $399. Meanwhile, prices for iPad Mini 3 should start from $399, also knocking the prices for its predecessor by $50 to $100. However, users can avail special offers with many of the preorder websites for better pricing. For instance, Best Buy can reduce at least $175 on iPad Mini 5 and $200 on iPad Air 2 for an old iPad. It is a deal that not many would want to miss.

Meanwhile, many users are asking if they should really be investing in such a device with new Nexus 9 being around. If you already own a 2nd Generation Apple tablet, getting up to $200 off is a wise deal. On the other hand, Nexus 9 is also a great tablet with interesting features, but with iOS 8.1 Apple is mighty.
