Here is a treat for horror film buffs. The 2002 famous horror comedy film "Cabin Fever" will return to the big screen. What makes it more exciting is that its remake film will use the original script of Eli Roth.
In a report by Deadline, Eli Roth will also be the executive producer of the "Cabin Fever" remake. The difference now, however, is that Roth will not have to dwell on the writing tasks more as being now the executive producer. The remake film will start shooting this week in Portland, OR. Initial information about the "Cabin Fever" remake bared that the film will star Gage Golightly, Samuel Davis, Nadine Crocker, Matthew Daddario and Dustin Ingram.
The Coming Soon also reported that co-producers of "Cabin Fever" remake will include Contend, Cassian Elwes and Armory Films. As cited by the original Roth's script, the movie follows the path of a bunch of college students who got a cabin for rent in the woods. In the cabin, the college buddies have some partying only to become a victim of a virus that sucks their flesh out. This is definitely an exciting horror movie for everybody who love to scream. This is also timing that Halloween is already fast approaching. The "Cabin Fever" remake can be a great bonding time among friends and families this Halloween Season.
Meanwhile, Travis Zariwny will be directing the remake film. It was reported that Roth has all praises for Zariwny as far as how the original script will be applied to the "Cabin Fever" remake. Roth said that as a scary movie fan himself, he will also love to watch the "Cabin Fever" remake.
"Cabin Fever" hit the big screen in 2002 and was popular because of its horror comedy genre. It also showed the life of college students who are having fun despite where the place is. The remake will surely be as blockbuster as its original film. Even this early on, fans are now waiting when the movie will be seen in cinemas. This will be an exciting and more screaming-filled movie. Despite the horror theme, what is important is that people are entertained and are having fun with this "Cabin Fever" remake film.
