Apple had a launching ceremony held on Oct. 16 at Apple's Town Hall Auditorium where iPad Air 2 was released. Many iPad fans have waited for the release but its components and tiny update in the hardware department is very disappointing. So hold your breath before going for iPad Air 2 and rethink twice as the new iPad Pro is on the line of Apple next generation tablet series.

iPad Pro has been rumored to have 12.9-inch giant display size. Apple tech. is maintaining high privacy about the product. The iPad Pro was supposed to release within this year but the sky demand of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus has pushed the date to early next year. According to tech analyst's recent report, Apple had planned to launch the device if iPhone 6 Plus would have not heat up the market according to Slash Gear. Since iPhone 6 Plus along with iPhone 6 broke all the previous sale volume record within three weeks, Apple has rolled in the decision of promoting the iPad Pro.

Those who have iPad Air and do not have the fat wallet to count for iPad Air 2 can remain happy, as the new gadget has not brought revolutionary change at all. The iPad Air 2 possess same display resolution and size like iPad Air with 9.7-inch display size. The display type remains same with LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen disappointingly with the identical 264 pixels per inch pixel density as before. The iPad Pro might snitch the crown when details are revealed with 12.9-inch display size.

From the specification review of GSMARENA it noticeable that aside from display Apple has pushed the camera level upward in iPad Air 2 with 8MP rear facing camera where previous version had only 5MP. The front camera still remains the same with 1.2MP sensor. The camera performance is pretty satisfactory as the rear 8MP camera performs much better compared to its pixel. The camera has capability of recording 1080p video at 30 fps and 720p video at 120fps. Apple has not revealed anything about the camera specification.

Apple's web site mentions that the hardware segment of iPad Air 2 concludes Apple's latest A8 chipset that supports Triple Core 1.5GHz processor while iPad Pro is also expected to come with A8 chipset. But with the presence of A8X chipset iPad Pro might shift towards the advanced innovation. iPad Air 2 is powered by 2 GB of RAM and the upcoming iPad Pro is also expected to carry 2GB of RAM.
