Brad Pitt: The Most Furious Role Ever
For Brad Pitt, "World War Z" might be over, yet this does not mean that the actor will stay away from the battlefield for a long period of time. With the thrilling "Fury" film, fans will have the chance to witness the action and emotions that comer with it.
According to PhilStar, David Ayer, the director and writer of the film, said that he is the right guy for this movie as it involves hardcore masculinity as well as real-deal groups of furious men. He also added that Pitt is set out to make the ultimate, which recreates the brutality of warfare and with the use of the loan of Dorset Tank Museum of the last Tiger tank to production, this serves as the special asset of "Fury".
Brad Pitt told The National that his new film "Fury" is a brutal depiction of World War II, which aims to recognize the trauma war inflicts on the soldiers. "Fury," the closing film at London Film Festival, hit the theaters and follows the tank crew as this pushes behind the enemy lines in the war's dying days in Germany in year 1945.
Pitt said that the film is not about sides. For him, the film is about the cumulative psychic trauma, which each soldier carries into some extent. This film is also about the soldiers who are exhausted from hunger, cold, and cumulative effective on a regular basis. He hopes that the soldiers will walk from this film and would feel they're recognized.
Pitt, together with some actors in the film, lent his support to the international Invictus Games last month for injured veterans and this was held in London.
The actor said that he learned a lot from doing the film. His role is Wardaddy, the battle-hardened army sergeant. Pitt also admitted that he became attached to Sherman Tan in which his team spent much in the film. He said that there is nothing ergonomic about the tank. Yet, they were forced to familiarize themselves with the tanks and look for their comfort spots.
Brad Pitt also told MSN that his "Fury" role helped him to be a better father.
