E FUN Nextbook Tablet Price and Release Date: Price is at $179 and Will Be Available at Walmart Stores Today!

Today is the day that the E FUN Nextbook tablet is shipped to Walmart Stores. The device is pegged at a low, low price of $179. And this is a great initiative that Windows and Intel had conceptualized as it clearly is an affordable answer to the high end devices available.

According to PC World, the E FUN Nextbook tablet specs includes: a Windows 8.1 OS, a 1,280x800-pixel IPS display that measures 10.1 inches, 2GB of storage, plus a microSD slot that can extend that to an additional 64GB with external storage, 802.11b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB, and mini HDMI.

The camera, on the other hand, sports off a 0.3MP front facing and 2MP at the back.

But, it does not stop there as the E FUN Nextbook tablet is pre-loaded with a one-year free subscription to Office 365 Personal plus 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, and 60 Skype world minutes per month, all coming from the tech giant, Microsoft. And it also includes the Nook App and a POGO keyboard that doubles as a hard protective casing.

Now, the question would come to the performance as the tablet only exudes 1GB of RAM and if it will have the ability to multitask given the RAM it has.

Majority of the tablets nowadays are Android powered and Intel CEO, Brian Krzanich, had said that the fastest-growing tablet segment was right around the $150 range, which could refer to Android devices. However, Intel's chips can rule both Windows and Android devices which allows Microsoft to follow in on Andoid's achievement.
