Barnes and Noble (B&N) collaborated with Samsung previously and their joint venation led to Galaxy Tablet 4 Nook which was released in August this year. The previous model was 7-inch while the Nook series tab returns again from Samsung platform with larger 10.1-inch display.

The latest Galaxy Nook 10.1 will come with surprise package of Nook apps. The apps will offer over $200 worth media and entertainment contents. The Nook store will be preinstalled along with the device aside from Google Play Store.

As indicated by the Digital Trends the latest Galaxy Nook 10.1 has similarities with Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 as they share very common hardware specification aside from the device color. The device will probably contain 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution in 10.1-inch packed screen. The camera segment might have average rated camera quality with 3MP rear facing camera and 1.3MP front facing camera. There will be provision for microSD card slot while the internal storage will carry 16GB space. Not much has been leaked about the device yet but Android Central has pledged that the Galaxy Nook 10.1 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor. The RAM slot will be provided with 1.5GB of RAM.

The price tag of the device has similarities with the Non Nook Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1(Non Nook) costs around $299.99 while the Barnes and Noble's Samsung Nook 4 10.1 will carry the introductory price tag of $300. However, price may vary as time passes by after the release as indicated by the ZDNETS.

The device is now waiting for its final announcement before making the appearance. The previous version of the Nook series managed a decent sale volume but in the competitive market where Apple iPad, Nexus tablets stays in the line, it is very hard to survive. 

Barnes & Nobles are very hopeful about the new launching. Their hard work and investment with the Korean tech giant Samsung might lead the Nook series tablet to a new era but obviously, it will not be straightforward task. All the speculation will conclude when the Galaxy Tab Nook 4 10.1 appears in the tab market.
