Halo: Nightfall Miniseries Debuts November 11 But Exclusive For Xbox
There are now four different trailers airing on the Internet to drum up interest in Ridley Scott's upcoming live-action production of the Halo miniseries - "Halo: Nightfall First Look," which was shown during July's San Diego Comic-Con,"Halo: Nightfall Behind-the-Scenes," the trailer which was shown by 343 industries back in September at the PAX Prime event, the more recent "Halo Nightfall In Cinema First Look" trailer, and of course, the official "Halo: Nightfall Trailer [Official]" trailer. The mini-series, which will be available via Xbox Live, and which will be included in Halo: The Master Chief Edition, depicts events that take place between Halo 4 and the next major installment in the franchise, Halo 5: Guardians, which is due in 2015. The "Halo: Nightfall" miniseries debuts November 11, 2014 in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Halo: Nightfall is directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan based on a screenplay by Paul T. Scheuring and stars Mike Colter as the pivotal new character in the Halo universe - Jameson Locke, a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Earth's most powerful and secretive military branch. When he and his team are caught in a horrific biological attack, they unravel a plot that draws them to an ancient, hellish artifact, where they will be forced to fight for their survival, question everything, and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their lives. Taking place between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: Nightfall is Locke's origin story which will lend insight and understanding into the character he becomes in Halo 5: Guardians.
The others in the Halo: Nightfall cast are Christina Chong as Talitha Macer, Steven Waddington as Randall Aiken, Luke Neal as Michael Bradley Horrigan, Alexander Baht as Alistair Bov Estrin, Alexis Rodney as Arris Le, Christian Contreras as Gregory Aio Ramos, Eric Kofi Abrefa as Haisal Wan, Jennie Gruner as Samantha Wisner, Sarah Armstrong as Jordan Gaines and Shaun Blaney as Mason Hundley.
