'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 1 Spoilers: Who Accused Sam and Annalise of Killing Lila?

"How to get away with Murder" Season episode 5 entitled "We're not Friends", gave Annalise that is being played by Viola Davis, a case with an admitted murderer. Her private life turned out to be more interesting than her current case. After she found out a naked photo of Sam that is being played by Tom Verica on Lila's phone, she immediately confronted her husband. Annalise cornered Sam and he had to admit to the affair. Sam claimed that Lila was present in his summer class and that she hit on him. Annalise has plenty of questions in her mind.

She asked her husband how many times they were together but her husband could not remember. Sam guessed six or seven times then Annalise asked her husband why Sam lied. Sam said "I was afraid you would think I hurt her and I could never do that. Sam claimed that Lila was persistent since she has problems with her boyfriend and family that Lila wants to talk about. Annalise accused him of preferring weak and broken women but Sam denied it. Sam met Annalise when he was married to another women and it looks like Annalise was the other woman. Since Annalise is not sure about the involvement of her husband, she refused to turn the phone to the authorities.

She also asked her husband if where is he when Annalise died. Sam admitted that Lila called her up and said that she is going to do something to hurt herself. Sam apologized to his wife for lying and cheating but they don't have enough time to fight again. Annalise told her husband that Rebecca that is being played by Katie Findlay was coming over. Annalise told Rebecca that Sam was doing psych evaluation and they are looking for information Lila may have shared about Sam. However Lila never gave any identifying information and details about her love. She just shared that she was married to Mr. Darcy. Sam was not sure if Rebecca can help him in his case and at the same time he wants to know if her wife believed him.
