'Lords of the Fallen' Release Date: Better Dark Souls? Improvements, Other Thrilling Actions To Come Your Way This October
"Lords of The Fallen", another innovative, hack and slash RPG will be hitting the shelves soon on Oct 28.
Cinema Blend reports that the upcoming video game is like an improved and more developed version of another hit RPG video game, Dark Souls.
"Lords of the Fallen" has improved combat mechanics and incorporates physics into fights with the game's enemies. Items will also be of greater value as it plays a more significant role during battle.
Character weight will be the basis on how much faster it can move, dodge, block and even the height of the character's jump. If the player wants to equip bigger and hardier armor, speed and agility will have to be sacrificed.
Even the character's weapon is a factor of the character's weight. A sturdier and harder weapon and armor set will mean a slower moving character, much like a tank. Also, if the character is heavy, it won't be able to roll and dodge sideways. A fair trade for a much tankier build.
Meanwhile, lighter armor gives the character the ability to dodge sideways and even do roll jumps. It enables the lighter character to maneuver freely on the battlefield.
But, that does not mean that you have to have a lighter armor in order for the character to attack faster. Only the weapon stats will affect the character's attack speed. Even with heavier armor, the character can still dish out fast and swift attacks from smaller weapons.
Collectively, ten various movesets are available for weapons in the game. It will also be different based on additional stats and modifiers. A stamina meter will also be utilized each time the player attacks, a tactical strategy will be needed in order to utilize the meter optimally.
Recently, Bandai Namco, CI Games have chosen lucky members of the upcoming video game\s community and gave them an early start to play "Lords of The Fallen" before the actual release date. The result was more gameplay footage worth hours and hours. A demonstration with a duration of five hours was even released, according to iDigital Times.
According to Ecu News, PS4 owners will be in for a treat as a limited edition is available for them, this includes the DLC pack "The Monk's Decipher". The game will be released on October 28 for the PC, PS4, and the Xbox One.
