In Episode 2, it is raining praises for Carol because she was their Saviour back in the Terminus, which is basically the reason why they are still alive.
It was a happy reunion for everyone in "The Walking Dead," especially when Rick and Carl finally saw Baby Judith again. Meanwhile, Tyresse sulks in the corner remembering the deaths of Lizzie and Mika. Rick approached Carol to say thank you and sorry because of what he did back in the Prison and asked if Carol would take them this time, she said yes.
Their mini-celebration was interrupted when Carl heard someone crying for help. They saved the person and his name is Gabriel Stokes. He is a devoted priest who chose not to kill anyone even a zombie who want to eat him alive. Rick knew that there was something off with the guy, he knew the priest was hiding some secrets. Later on, the priest accompanied the group into his safe haven - the church.
After days of fighting and walking, everyone was hungry and Father Gabriel tells Rick there was a food bank nearby but it was overrun by walkers. Rick, Mischonne, Bob, Sasha and Father Gabriel went to the place and were able to get out safely. With tons of food, everyone was happy eating except for one, Bob.
During the feast, Abraham made a little speech that would encourage everyone to continue the Washington trip. Baby Judith cooed after the speech and then Ricks said "She's in. If she's in, I'm in".
Meanwhile, Bob was on the outside, he became so worried ever since they got out of the food bank. He plans to leave the church and Sasha because he was about to reveal a wound, though we did not see him getting bitten nor scratched. Then suddenly he went black out because someone hit him from the back.
For the cliffhanger; Bob woke up and saw Gareth's face. Terrified, he could see him eating something, his leg. Gareth says, "A man's gotta eat. If it makes you feel any better, you taste much better than we thought you would."
Gareth is ALIVE and that changes everything.
