HTC One M8 Vs. Galaxy S5 Vs. LG G3 Vs. iPhone 6: Your Next Smartphone
Holiday season is just a around the corner and many people are looking for a new smartphone delight. It is quite evident that in the last few months many different smartphones and tablets have been launched magnifying the choice for smart users.
Out of the several available choices, the best ones are from HTC, Samsung, LG, and now from Apple. Where should you actually invest the money? Which smartphone is truly the best option out there? A comparison between the most important features should help.
Display
If you are looking for a bigger display, nothing can serve the purpose better than LG G3 at 5.5 inch screen. At the same time, Samsung and HTC also offer decent screen size at just about 5 inches. However, Apple lags behind with iPhone 6 at just 4.7 inches, which in some cases is easier to carry and hold with one hand. As a matter of fact, the Retina Display at 750 x 1334 pixels is a complete delight even against the best 1440 x 2560 pixels from LG G3.
Memory Power and Processor
The all new A8 processor from Apple is one of the fastest things in smartphone world. iPhone 6 hardly seem to lag or freeze even with the most advanced applications and gaming. On the other hand, 1.9GHz Octa-core processor from Samsung is good too. The RAM power is 2 GB for all these devices.
Camera
HTC One M8 has 4 Ultrapixel camera, which is a new thing for many, but it's very powerful and gives good pictures even in lowlight conditions. Samsung Galaxy S5's camera is also decent at 16 MP, but iPhone 6's 8 MP iSight camera again surprises with picture quality. It's actually better than LG G3 and at par with others on the list.
Price
It should not be any revelation that Apple iPhone 6 is the most expensive thing on this list and not everyone will be willing to part with $800 for unlocked model. On the other hand Samsung Galaxy S5 comes at $500. HTC One M8 comes at around $550 for unlocked model and LG G3 at $599. There's no doubt that S5 is the logical choice.
