Rod Lumpkin II Releases His Gospel Album "Glimpse"
On January 13, 2015, Gospel producer, songwriter and singer Rod Lumpkin II will release his DREAM GOSPEL debut album "Glimpse."
This is what Lumpkin has to say about the new project: "As I embark upon this new season and share my personal worship with the world, I'm excited to be connected to the Dream Gospel Label family; that has put sharing the message of Jesus Christ at the forefront of their vision. Dream Gospel label allows me to do more than just bring my dreams to past as I express and release the sound of worship that is within me. Not only a worship artist but also as a worship and associate pastor, Dream Gospel Label provides a national platform for me to go forth with creative expression without compromising what really matters; which is sharing the gospel with the world.
I want to thank the entire Dream Label Group team for the opportunity that I've been praying and patiently waiting for since 1998; which is when I recorded my first independent CD. God's timing is perfect timing! Thank you Dream Gospel and Dream Label Group for allowing Rod Lumpkin's dreams to finally come to pass; a dream to release a unique sound that bridges the gap between all ethnicity and leads people to a place of refreshing, renewal, rest and most of all into the presence of the Lord where worship is unrestrained."
Rod Lumpkin currently serves as the Pastor of Praise and Worship for Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church and as the Overseer of Operations for the Worship Ministry of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. He is the CEO of Psalmic Flow Productions, and the Visionary of Unrestrained Worship the Encounter, birthed in 2008, gathering worshipers from around the World to be refreshed, united, and equipped.
In March 2010, Rod released his first book entitled, "Understanding Our Creative Purpose, and in 2005 he was one of several writers for the compilation book entitled "Embracing the Next Dimension", released by the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. He is an award winning producer and songwriter receiving one Dove Nomination, winning two Stellar Awards, and three Marlin Awards. Rod also has a current CD entitled "The Intimate Realm."
