Brandon Camphor & One Way Crack Top 30/Release New Music Video
One of the most exciting young vocal groups on today's musical landscape, Brandon Camphor & OneWay, has found its way on to Billboard Magazine's Top 30 Gospel Airplay Chart with its inspiring new radio hit "I Choose You." The engaging urban contemporary track sports smooth harmonies and Camphor's velvety bright tenor mounted on top of an instantly inviting '70s soul groove. Their new music video for the song will debut on OneWay's YouTube channel at 12:01 AM Tuesday, April 14th

"Can you imagine intentionally trying to break the heart of God and yet He still pursues you and loves you?" Camphor asks rhetorically about his inspiration for the song's message. "I couldn't believe this kind of love was happening to me. His love always wins. It was the unconditional and consistent love that Jesus showed me that won my devotion to Him. He loved me through my worse parts, even the ones I brought upon myself. I decided I would say yes to Jesus because I do love Him that much."
A Washington, D.C. area native, Camphor formed OneWay in 2007 with singers Angela Jones, Julia McMillan, and Fred Cleveland. Their debut album "Regeneration" was released in 2009. With Pop-flavored shades of rock and funk, the inspiring songs of faith and worship included fan favorites "It's Possible (Gotta Have Faith)" and "Bless the Lord." The closing song "One Way" explained the group's name and mission: "One way to live the life," they sing. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! I'm gonna live for Christ. He's the way, the truth, the light."
The group won Music World Gospel and The Gospel Music Channel's "The Most Powerful Voices Competition" in 2011 and in 2012, Camphor launched the "Jesus Rock: Live It Loud" college tour that found OneWay touring with Tye Tribbett, Kierra Sheard and Group1Crew. Camphor has also been a soloist on the Grammy Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir's "Love Lead The Way" and "Pray" albums. In 2014, OneWay hit the Billboard Gospel Airplay chart for the first time with the track "You Are God." OneWay is now putting the finishing touches on its sophomore album "Hope Is Alive" that is tentatively scheduled for an autumn 2015 release.
