Read the Story Behind New Hope Christian College New Worship Album

New Hope Christian College is set to release their DREAM Gospel worship debut album on April 24th. The first single off the album "Shine Your Light" is an upbeat, anthemic song that can easily be sung in churches across the nation. "I Will Sing" is another great track off the album and is a powerful worship song that you will want to put on repeat! The New Hope Christian College (NHCC) album is truly an exciting compilation of the entire Creative Arts Department of New Hope Christian College in Eugene, Oregon.

Vision for this self-titled became reality when Dave Hanley (Founder & CEO of DREAM) visited the NHCC campus in Eugene, Oregon to lead a songwriting workshop with Creative Arts students. It was here in this creative and collaborative atmosphere where many of these songs found inspiration, including the album's single "Shine Your Light." The time spent with Dave Hanley lit a fire of creativity that spurred an ongoing writing effort on behalf of the musicians of NHCC and culminated in the 11 songs heard on the album.

New Hope Christian College is a place to discover, develop, and deploy your God given dreams for the purposes of the kingdom. God has a wonderful call on your life! Since 1925, they have been both humbled and privileged as an accredited institution of higher education to train leaders like you for the work of the ministry. Pastor Wayne Cordeiro serves on the Board of Directors of New Hope Christian College. NHCC is now part of a consortium of New Hope Christian Colleges with locations in Hawaii, Oregon, Myanmar, and Tokyo. Pastor Wayne Cordeiro is also the founding pastor of New Hope Oahu. He is a church planter at heart with over 124 churches planted in the Pacific Rim countries of the Philippines, Japan, Australia and Myanmar. Nationally, he has planted churches in Hawaii, California, Washington, and Nevada.

Now with its debut release, New Hope Christian College embarks on a new season of creativity and a global presence to partner with DREAM records and make a greater impact for the Kingdom of God.
