Country Singer Randy Rogers' Daughter Dies 6 Days After Birth
Rumer Rain Rogers, the newborn daughter of country singer Randy Rogers, has died just six days after her birth. Writing on Facebook: "Rumer Rain Rogers, daughter of Randy and Chelsea Rogers, passed away last night at Seton Memorial Hospital in Austin, Texas. Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth. During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children's charity of their choosing. The family thanks you for your love and support."
Randy Rogers is the lead singer of Randy Rogers Band.They are an American country music group from the state of Texas. The band is composed of Randy Rogers (lead vocals), Geoffrey Hill (guitar), Jon Richardson (bass guitar), Brady Black (fiddle), and Les Lawless (drums). They have recorded four studio albums and two live albums, and have charted seven singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Their latest album is "Trouble" which featues the singles "One More Sad Song", "Trouble Knows My Name" and "Fuzzy"
"She died in our arms and in no pain," the lead singer of the Randy Rogers Band said in a statement to radio station 93Q in Houston. "She was absolutely beautiful in every way. Her brain however was very sick."
Randy added, "She died after a week-long battle with a very rare condition. I'm sure you all have many questions and we have all the answers the doctors gave us. We can share the story with you. It's quite an extraordinary one. A memorial will be planned soon. We love you."
