Lizzy Long Receives a Dove Award Nomination
Christian bluegrass artist Lizzy Long has received a Dove Award nomination, which was announced Wednesday by the Gospel Music Association. "God Is There", a classic duet featuring Lizzy and Rhonda Vincent and written by Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey, was announced as a finalist for the 2015 Bluegrass Song of the Year at the 46th GMA Dove Awards.

Long, who has carved her niche as a regular on the road with The Little Roy and Lizzy Show over the past five years, is a native of Lincolnton, GA.Meanwhile, Blueberry Pie, a special bluegrass/gospel project, immediately made its debut at No. 5 on the Country Gospel chart on Neilsen SoundScan, and has continued to retmain in the top of the Bluegrass Billboard® charts since its release.
All winners will be announced at the awards show on Tuesday, October 13. The GMA Dove Awards, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT, will air globally on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 18.
