Keith Brady of the Bradys Need Our Prayers & Help for His Heart Surgery
Keith Brady of The BRADYS had open heart surgery that included 5 bypasses on Tuesday September 22. Despite being a lengthy surgery, it was a success. However, he did indicate that only 3 bypasses were able to be performed out of the five that were needed, due to the fact that the other two damaged arteries were too far gone to be repaired.
On Facebook, the Bradys are not only asking for our prayers, but they are asking for help from fans. "If you would like to help with any of Keith's expenses from his open heart surgery, please click on the link below. Any amount helps! https://www.crowdrise.com/helpwithkeithbradysm."
The Bradys further explains: "Keith Brady, a founding member of the Gospel singing group "The Brady's", recently underwent a stress test for chest pain. During a routine procedure, the doctor's discovered major blockages in Keith's heart which required emergency open heart surgery. While Keith does have medical insurance, he lives on a very small salary from the Christian Radio Station he DJs for through the week, as well as the fluctuating income he makes from singing Gospel music with The Brady's on some weekends. Keith will now be out of work for six to ten weeks due to recovery from his open heart surgery on September 22, 2015. We are asking for your monetary support to help with Keith's medical and monthly expenses as he recovers from this very serious and unexpected surgery. Thank you for your continued prayers and support."
The Bradys have had to cancel several weeks of bookings and it is undetermined at this time how many weeks may yet have to be canceled. This will be a weekly decision based on Keith's continued progress, but they are believing that through the prayers of God's people Keith will soon be back on the road ministering in song for the Lord as he so desires to do! The BRADYS are asking for their friends across the country to keep Keith and the group in their prayers!
