Justin Bieber Unveils Christian Themed Artwork for His New Inspirational Album "Purpose"
Justin Bieber has never been shy about his Christian faith. Recently, he has been seen attending Hillsongs conference in Sydney. He's also an attendee of the mega church's New York campus and he was bapitzed privately by the campus pastor. Now, Bieber brings his faith to bare on his new album "Purpose." The album cover shows a topless Bieber posed in prayer with a crucifix tattooed across his chest.
Bieber has told the New York Times that he wants his latest album Purpose, which was co-written with songwriter Jason "Poor Bear" Boyd, to be "inspirational." Speaking to the New York Times about his latest writing partner, Bieber explained that the pair worked so well together because Boyd "doesn't have an ego."
"A lot of people that I've tried to work with in the industry, they got an ego, and I got a little bit of an ego as it is, so two egos together doesn't really work."
Purpose has already been banned in some Muslim countries, including Indonesia, for its provocative Christian-themed artwork.
Now if you preorder his new album Purpose, you'll get an Ariana Grande duet of his single "What Do You Mean?" as well (a track that isn't included on the regular album).
The Biebs' 18-track album will drop Nov. 13.
