Canton Junction Celebrates Successful "Every Hallelujah Concert Tour"
Canton Junction recently wrapped up the successful "Every Hallelujah Concert Tour," performing before enthusiastic audiences in various cities across Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Tennessee. Joined by special guests Jason Crabb, Ivan Parker, The Isaacs and Voices of Lee on select dates, the tour also featured a special "Eat and Greet" Tailgate Party in most cities, hosted by Canton Junction outside the venues.
The Canton Junction "Every Hallelujah Concert Tour" benefited Sanctuary of Hope, an outreach of San Antonio's Cornerstone Church focusing on the building and development of an unwed mothers facility; state-of-the-art orphanage; and world class boarding school.
"We loved having the opportunity to share songs from Every Hallelujah with audiences for the first time on this tour," said Canton Junction's Matthew Hagee. "It was a special treat for us to get to connect with so many at the tailgate parties before the shows. And we had such a great time sharing the stage with our good friends Jason Crabb, Ivan Parker and The Isaacs. In every respect, it was a tour we will not forget."
"I have always been a fan of Canton Junction and with each tour date and the tailgate parties I began to understand their heart for ministry," said Ivan Parker. "We are so excited for all the dates to come with Canton Junction as they are one of the best quartets in Southern Gospel today!"
Canton Junction's latest recording, Every Hallelujah, debuted at #1 on Nielsen SoundScan's Southern Gospel Overall Chart and in the Top 20 on Billboard's Top Current Contemporary Christian chart, following its release in August. Produced by award-winning musician Garry Jones, Every Hallelujah marks the first recording to feature new members Casey Rivers (lead) and Ryan Seaton (baritone), as they join founding members Matthew Hagee and Tim Duncan on 13 powerful selections. Led by the soaring first single, "Weep No More," the project features contributions from many of Gospel music's finest songwriters, including Kenna West, Sue C. Smith, Lee Black, Ben Storie and Ronny Hinson, among others.
Since their debut in 2012, Canton Junction has quickly become one of southern gospel music's most sought-after quartets. The self-titled Canton Junction featured the #1 singles "Hold On," "The Son Shines Down On Me," "Sweeter As The Days Go By" and "Dig A Little Deeper," garnering a GMA Dove Award for Southern Gospel Album of the Year. Last year the group received the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite Southern Gospel New Traditional quartet.
