Ben and Maila Releases "All About Love"
Ben & Maila has released their new album All About Love! This amazing album consists of love songs with a contemporary Hawaiian sound. As one of the most sought after musical groups for weddings in Hawaii, "All About Love" allows them to continue sharing their passion for marriage as well as their passion for the islands they get to call home.
Ben Vegas and Maila Gibson have been performing together, in and out of Hawaii, for over 16 years. Separately, they have their own musical accomplishments, but together they are celebrated as Hawaii's top contemporary music duo.
Ben Vegas has performed among many world-renowned artists like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and Chaka Khan. In Hawaii, he is best known for number one hits like "Puanani," and "Maile Lei."
Maila Gibson has performed with artists like Jim Brickman, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, and Natalie Cole. She is best known for her recording of "The Prayer" with Grammy nominated Hawaiian recording artists, Ho'okena.
Together, they are multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners. Their first album as a duo, "Forevermore," received the award for Contemporary Album of the Year. Ben and Maila perform weekly at the Disney Aulani Resort and recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Their music was also featured in the major motion picture, "You May Not Kiss The Bride," starring Katherine McPhee, Rob Schneider, and Kathy Bates.
Their second album, "All About Love," released on November 20, 2015. Much like their first album, it consists of contemporary love songs, but this time with a little bit more of a contemporary Hawaiian sound. As one of the most sought after musical groups for weddings in Hawaii, "All About Love" allows them to continue sharing their passion for marriage as well as their passion for the islands they get to call home.
