Mercy River Celebrates Christmas with New Album "All is Bright"
With fifteen kids between them - Brooke, Whitney and Soni - the three moms who form Mercy River, undoubtedly have full plates. Even with the demands of motherhood, they refuse to slow down. Mercy River has just released their brand new Christmas album All is Bright. On this new release, this popular female vocal trio presents a collection of classic Christmas songs performed with their signature tight three-part harmonies and gorgeous production.
Mercy River takes us on a journey throughout the album, from the feeling of a hushed winter's evening on "Still, Still, Still" to the upbeat celebration of the season on "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." Mercy River has a gift for evoking the sacred meaning of Christmas on tracks like "Silent Night," "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," and on the deeply moving song "Real," by Nichole Nordeman. This is the perfect album to create a spirit of celebration that centers on the Savior and the true meaning of Christmas.
Over the past eight years, Mercy River has traveled all over the United States and Canada as a highly sought-after ensemble, performing for thousands of people while testifying of the Savior. Each member of the group brings several years of experience in performing, writing, and directing hundreds of firesides and concerts-as well as recording on dozens of inspirational albums. Their self-titled debut album was released in May 2008; Beautiful Dawn was released in March of 2010. Their third album, Higher, was released in February 2012. Their fourth album, Come Alive, was released in November 2013 to rave reviews, and their most recent album, All Is Bright, A Mercy River Christmas is available as of October 2015.
