The Banner Days Release "Hand Me a Hymnal"
The Banner Days comprises of artists Bradford Loomis and Beth Whitney. They describe their sound as Johnny Cash meets Alison Krauss. This blend combined with their dramatic crescendos, minimalist intensity, and intricate harmonies have elicited comparisons to All Sons and Daughters, The Swell Season, and Need To Breathe.
They have just released their new album Hand Me A Hymnal. Hand Me a Hymnal spans the wide breadth from soulful, joyous gospel, to brooding Appalachian ballads; from foot stomping bluegrass to swanky R&B and makes the distance seem minuscule.
After the self-titled 2014 release of their critically acclaimed and award-winning album, Beth and Bradford, along with Beth's husband/upright bassist, Aaron Fishburn, teamed up again with producer and worship artist, Brandon Bee, to capture their unique take on some beloved hymn classics both ancient and modern.
Tracklist:
1. Steal Away (Intro) [feat. Bradford Loomis]
2. In the Sweet By and By
3. The Valley
4. Come Thou Fount / I Will Arise
5. Come Holy Ghost
6. I Need Thee Every Hour
7. Turn Your Eyes
8. Rock of Ages
9. Steal Away (feat. Beth Whitney)
