"The Voice" is back on NBC tonight as the competition heats up with the first-ever 'Battle Rounds 2'. The coaches will be pairing up their singers again to go head to head with the same song and see who can shine brightest in the biggest moments to advance into the final 'Live Rounds'. Above are some preview teaser from "The Voice" of the coaches to get everyone excited for this week's action!
To help the contestants along with the new special format will be Chris Martin, lead singer of the world-famous rock band, Coldplay, They teased it in the previews (which you can watch above) and you can see a little of Martin in action as he prepares Audra McLaughlin and Megan Ruger for the second round of battles.
Coldplay formed in 1996 in London and released their debut album Parachutes from Parlophone Records. The debut album included the song "Yellow" which gave the brit-rock band their first Top 10 single and shot them into the national spotlight. Since then, Coldplay has become one of the biggest bands in the world over the last 10 years and have racked up several awards including seven Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards and five MTV Video Music Awards.
Adam Levine (Team Adam) is coming off of winning last season (Season 5) and has a very strong team this year so far. Blake Shelton (Team Blake) won three seasons in a row (Seasons 2-4) and is looking to win back the crown. Newcomers Usher (Team Usher) and Shakira (Team Shakira) are on their second season of the show after both being on Season 4. They are both looking for their first win as a part of the hit singing competition.
