VERIDIA Premieres Official Music Video For No. 1 Single "Pretty Lies"
Alt-Rock band VERIDIA has just released a new music video for their No. 1 radio single, "Pretty Lies (feat. Matty Mullins)." The song, their second career No. 1 single, hit the top spot this past February on both the Billboard and Mediabase CCM Rock chart.
The music video for "Pretty Lies (featuring Matty Mullins)," directed by Matt DeLisi, showcases the fight for perfection, which VERIDIA vocalist, Deena Jakoub, believes is unattainable. "The idea is that we waste too much time comparing ourselves to other people and to these images of people that aren't real," she shares. The video can also be viewed on VERIDIAMusic.com as well as on the band's social networks, linked below. "Pretty Lies (featuring Matty Mullins)" is from their Pretty Lies EP, released in September. The group is continuing to add festival and tour dates to their schedule, so be sure to click here to view their most updated tour schedule.
VERIDIA, whose music has been featured on ESPN, have performed at Voodoo Fest, Suburbia, and Gulfport, among others, is a unique fusion of alt-rock with electronic elements, wrapped around the evocative vocals and presence of front woman, Deena Jakoub. Of Egyptian descent, Deena's look and voice when mixed with the electronic/rock soundscape provided by co-founder and guitar player, Brandon Brown, drummer Kyle Levy and guitarist Trevor Hinesley, continue to capture new fans at every show.
