Robert Randolph Headlines GOSPEL BRUNCH at CLEVELAND ROCKS 2016
On July 19, during the time of the Republican National Convention, highly respected guitar slinger,Robert Randolph with soul legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer,Sam Moore, and the Ohio Gospel Players, will provide entertainment for the "Gospel Brunch" held at The Auto Lot in downtown Cleveland. The Auto Lot is a pop-up venue located at W. 3rd and W. Superior next to Public Square. The Gospel Brunch will be hosted by Congressman Gregg Harper and will include special guest speaker, 2014 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee, Pastor Aeneas Williams.
The event is produced by Blue Star Productions, LLC in conjunction with the Green Beret Foundation, The Folded Flag Foundation, The Guardians of Heroes Foundation, OH Fallen Heroes, and SRT-K9 Unit, with those military charities receiving proceeds from the event.
Cleveland Rocks 2016 events are private, invitation-only and are not connected with or sanctioned by any political party or its affiliated committees, nor authorized by any candidate or federal candidate's committee. Tickets for the events will be made available only to paid sponsors and invited guests. Monies paid by sponsors will not be used to influence any political party or candidate committees. These events are designed to comply with the Rules of the U.S. Senate and House.

About Robert Randolph
Robert Randolph & The Family Band first gained national attention with the release of the album Live at the Wetlands in 2002. The band followed with three studio recordings over the next eight years-Unclassified, Colorblind, and We Walk This Road-which, together with tireless touring and unforgettable performances at such festivals as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, won them an expanding and passionate fan base. Randolph's unprecedented prowess on his instrument garnered him a spot on Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" list, and also attracted the attention of such giants as Eric Clapton and Carlos Santana, who have collaborated with him on stage and in the studio. About Sam Moore
Sam Moore found musical fame as one half of the '60's powerhouse duo Sam & Dave. With 1967's hit "Soul Man," the duo found lasting fame, defined a genre, and altered the course of music history. Their signature sound influenced a diverse array of musical talents, including Al Green, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Chicago's Phil Collins, Elvis Costello, and Billy Joel. Their music helped to inspire the film Blues Brothers, and has appeared on the soundtracks of more than a dozen films. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1992, Rolling Stone named Moore one of the 100 greatest singers of the rock era. Moore, 79, continues to perform regularly both in solo shows and as a guest performer for his dozens of musical friends.
About Aeneas Williams
Aeneas Williams is a former American football player, who played with the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Southern University and was drafted in the third round of the 1991 NFL Draft. Williams was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014. Aeneas started out as a cornerback then switched to free safety later in his career. Williams is currently the founding pastor of Spirit Church in St. Louis.
About The Folded Flag Foundation
America's freedom comes at a great cost. The Folded Flag Foundation serves to honor the legacy of and pay tribute to the bravest men and women who have given their lives in defense of our country. Our Mission is to provide scholarships and educational support grants to the spouses and children of the United States military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations. Scholarships and grants are available to qualifying spouses of fallen heroes and their children under the age of 26 to help provide a pathway to success by assisting with a wide range of educational needs, from kindergarten to college/trade school.

About SRT K9 Unit
SRT K9 Unit is a non-profit 501-c3 organization made up of handler and dog teams in Ohio. The canine teams are certified in human remains detection, tracking, and trailing. The unit has come together to provide the necessary resources to compliment federal, state, and local authorities in finding missing persons and/or their remains.
