'The Voice' Season 6 NBC Usher Chooses His Top 3 for Live Finals, See Who He Picked Here
"The Voice" Season 6 continued on NBC on Monday night and it was finally coach Usher's turn to pick his Top 3 contestants for the 'Live Finals' to represent Team Usher. He was the last coach to pick his finalists and the emotions were running high between contestants and Usher himself, which is what makes the 'Playoff Rounds' very exciting.
Each of Team Usher's remaining five contestants sang one final song and then it was up to him to cut two of them and decide which three would advance. After all of Team Usher's contestants performed, at the end of the night he made the difficult decision to choose pop/rocker, Bria Kelly, smooth R&B singer, T.J. Wilkins, and soul singer, Josh Kaufman. Unfortunately this meant it was time to say goodbye to Stevie Jo and Melissa Jimenez.
Blake Shelton was the first coach up to pick his Top 3 last Tuesday evening and he went with Jake Worthington, Sisaundra Lewis and Audra McLaughlin to represent Team Blake in the 'Live Rounds'. Team Shakira chose her Top 3 contestants on Monday night and she went with Tess Boyer, Kristen Merlin and Dani Moz. Team Adam also went Monday night and selected Christina Grimmie, Delvin Choice and Kat Perkins to represent his team in the 'Live Rounds'.
Adam Levine (Team Adam) is coming off of winning last season (Season 5) and has a very strong team this year so far. Blake Shelton (Team Blake) won three seasons in a row (Seasons 2-4) and is looking to win back the crown. Newcomers Usher (Team Usher) and Shakira (Team Shakira) are on their second season of the show after both being on Season 4. They are both looking for their first win as a part of the hit singing competition.
