Phillips, Craig & Dean Celebrate 25-Year Career with New Tour and Album This Fall
This year will involve a lot of celebrating for Phillips, Craig & Dean, as they commemorate their 25-year career and 25 number one songs. They plan to share the observance with fans, first with a new tour, Phillips, Craig & Dean 25 Years; Hits, Hymns and Worship, featuring special guest Travis Cottrell. The tour will launch in late September, with confirmed stops in upper state New York, Louisiana, Ohio and Michigan.
Also coming this fall, the trio will release their first hymns album, Hymns and Psalms, produced by Chris Bevins and recorded at the Padded Room in Franklin, TN. The project features the timeless church classics with a more soulful approach that pays homage to the Muscle Shoals sound. Fans can get an early preview of two songs from the project, "Blessed Assurance" and "I Surrender All" at www.phillipscraiganddean.com.
"Phillips, Craig and Dean have had an incredible impact on millions of people through the years. Their inimitable harmonies and stylings are at once recognizable and comforting," says Jeff Moseley, President, Fair Trade Services. "Randy, Shawn and Dan's leadership in the local church has shaped and informed their approach to all aspects of their ministry. They have carried this care and concern for the Church everywhere they have gone and to everyone they have come in contact with. We are all better off because of the unique imprint they have left on us."
"Many times God calls us to remember," says Shawn Craig,"so we're doing that. As we mark two and half decades of music and ministry, we want to thank the many friends, gifted writers, and musicians who have traveled this road of grace with us."
Next year will offer additional exciting news from Phillips, Craig & Dean, as they plan to publish their first book in early 2017 that will tell the stories behind the 25 No. 1 songs, along with other hit tunes that the group has recorded. In April 2017, the guys will host REVIVE! Austin, Texas Weekend on April 28-30, which will celebrate their 25 years of ministry. This exclusive VIP weekend will include personal time with Phillips, Craig & Dean, a real Texas Barbecue, a concert and special devotional services.
