The Northern Delaware Chapter GMWA Recording Choir Presents GOD BE GLORIFIED
Following in the footsteps of great gospel music presented by and developed from The Gospel Music Worship of America (GMWA) and the choirs that hail from the organization, The Northern Delaware Chapter, Inc of the GMWA has released their first album GOD BE GLORIFIED. The Northern Delaware Chapter GMWA Recording Choir (NDC GMWA Choir) recorded GOD BE GLORIFIED in November of 2015 and enthusiastically embark on the journey of being a national recording artist with their debut release.
Minister Wayne E. Carter, Sr. "The Maestro" is a native Delawarean who demonstrates great vision and expectation in spear-heading The Northern Delaware Chapter, Inc and choir into a new dimension of effectiveness and excellence in Music Ministry. Carter is executive producer of the 12-song project and leads the chapter's vision and mission to preserve choir music by introducing all genres of gospel music to young people through training and education.
"Our choir is a group of ordinary people (pastors, clergy, teachers, mothers and fathers, hairstylists, health providers, musicians, professionals, students and retirees) from different denominations like a bouquet of flowers unifying our fragrances, talents and gifts for serving the ONE and ONLY EXTRAORDINARY GOD," states Carter. "Our mission is to musically equip, educate and empower God's people for effective music ministry."The NDC GMWA Choir released the project this summer and have their first single "We Praise You" at gospel radio now. "We Praise You" is high energy Sunday morning praise showcasing the choir's dynamic and exceptional level of performance.

"The Gospel music that has been recorded on our CD sets an atmosphere for the essence of the Lord," Carter shares. "There are songs on this project that will have you clapping your hands, stomping your feet, crying out to the Lord, and for some saints, pulling over on the side of the road to get a dance in! No other music, except Gospel music, can touch a heart like so."
The NDC GMWA Choir will have key appearances this fall promoting and sharing music from GOD BE GLORIFIED. The choir will be making stops in Richmond, VA at St. Paul Baptist Church on September 24, will appear with John P. Kee in Wilmington, DE on October 1 at theGrand Opera House, and will be in full concert on October 22 in Sharon Hill, PA at the First African Baptist Church of Darby Township. (NDC GMWA Choir Events List)The NDC GMWA Choir's calling is to equip and empower the people of God with music and ministry resources for spreading the good news through song, dance, and the word of God. The chapter intends to continue to work diligently to keep choir music in the forefront the music industry, because if it's not heard, it can be forgotten. GOD BE GLORIFIED is one of many music ministry tools and examples of work for the genre that the chapter has produced and will begin to share globally.
