While the Atlanta Falcons are headed to the Super Bowl this weekend, the stage is already set for the revival of Richard Torrence's Inspirational Stage Play, Lord Why Can't I Do Right, directed by the Godfather of Urban Theater, Mr. Shelly Garrett. A casting call will welcome singers and actors to the Cornerstone Church in Smyrna, Ga on Saturday, February 4th.

His creation of the hit st stage play Beauty Shop broke box office records in cities across the country and in its 3 decade long history has been seen by over 2 million people. Lord Why Can't I Do Right tells the story of two brothers: Kenny, an unsuccessful man by society's standards caught up by a fascination with women, drugs, and money and DeAundre, a white-collar hustler, who is extremely successful at scheming the community to support his varied causes. Kenny has a near death experiences that brings about a life change and enlists his brother for help. When two brothers with contradicting objectives collaborate to start a church, all hell is bound to break loose.
Lord Why Can't I Do Right will make its debut in early June before beginning a multi city tour throughout the south and midwest United States.
