Jason Mraz New Album 'YES' Releasing July 2014, See Tracklist & Listen to "Love Someone" Single Here (VIDEO)
Popular singer/songwriter, Jason Mraz, has announced that he will be releasing his new album, YES!, on July 15th from Atlantic Records. This will be the Grammy Award winner's fifth studio album and be a full acoustic album 'containing songs about love, friendship, healing, hope, and consciousness' according to his website. You can listen to his new song, "Love Someone," above.
Pre-order 'YES!' on iTunes and you'll also receive a download of a new track from the album every Monday.
Mraz will be touring across the U.S. later this summer before heading to Europe, Asia, and Australia in the fall and South America in 2015. Stay tuned for a special announcement next month.
YES! was produced by Mraz along with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, First Aid Kit, Rilo Kiley), was recorded in rural Omaha, Nebraska and inland Oceanside, California. Even though it is an acoustic album, YES! still has a good pop sensibility like his previous albums and features classical instruments, cello, sitar and vintage guitars and sings about universal themes of love, faith, healing, environmental stewardship and inner peace.
Mraz will begin a number of high profile TV appearances this week, beginning with a performance of "Love Someone" on the upcoming live season finale of FOX's "American Idol" on Wednesday, May 21st. Mraz and Raining Jane will then hit The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform another new song "Hello, You Beautiful Thing" on Friday May 23rd followed by a visit to NBC's The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, July 17th and NBC's TODAY with a "Toyota Concert Series" show broadcast live from New York's Rockefeller Center on Friday, July 18th.
