Kingdom Bound 2017 Brings Star Studded Lineup to Darien Lake
The Kingdom Bound Festival, one of the nation's largest and longest-running Christian music festivals, is set to return to Darien Lake theme park this summer. The 31st annual festival takes place July 26-29 with more than 40,000 attendees from across the U.S. and Canada expected to attend. On-site accommodations are available, as well as full event and single day commuter passes. All tickets include access to festival activities as well as admission to Darien Lake Theme and Water Park.
As the festival celebrates 31 years, the theme reflects a return to the basic message that is the theme of Kingdom Bound Ministries, to share the Gospel and to encourage believers. As the festival enters its third decade it continues to serve as a time of hope and encouragement to all who attend.
"This year, let's be intentional about sharing the Gospel through the vehicle of Kingdom Bound" said festival director Donna Russo. "Do you know someone who is need of encouragement or looking for hope in the midst of challenge? Bring them to Kingdom Bound this summer where they can hear uplifiting words and be encouraged to have hope."
Kingdom Bound 2017 will feature more than 40 musical acts from across the country, including headline performances by Dove-Award winning fan favorites Kari Jobe, Tenth Avenue North and The Newsboys. Joining them will be Irish folk rockers Rend Collective, 4 time GRAMMY winner Mac Powell of Third Day, along with KB, Britt Nicole, and American Idol finalist Danny Gokey. Leading worship this year will be perennial favorites Paul Baloche, Robin Mark and Brothers McClurg as well as many others. New this year will be an engaging performance by viral internet star comedian John Crist.
Other festival events include Kids Ministry for ages 4-8, Amped Tent for 9-12 year olds, the Kingdom Bound Marketplace, and over 40 inspirational seminars from speakers across the world including National Communicator Reggie Dabbs, Mike Gordon, Wes Aarum, Mike Donehey, Carol Mcleod, as well as Buffalo's own Jill and Erin Kelly.
New this year, on Thursday July 27, the second day of the festival has been specifically planned to center on worship. KBNOW (Kingdom Bound Night of Worship) will be a special themed day within the larger festival featuring some of the best worship leaders in the country. A special buy 3 get the 4th free ticket offer is available for the day. "Everywhere we look we see churches uniting across social, racial, and denominational lines so together they can serve the cause of Christ" said festival communications director Dave Bruno. "We want to invite everyone to join us for this special night of worship".
Single-day tickets for the festival are $49.00 - $59.00 and include admission to Darien Lake Theme Park and water park.
