Earnest Pugh Earns his Highest Billboard Gospel Albums Sales Chart Debut
Gospel music powerhouse, Earnest Pugh, has earned his highest Billboard Gospel Albums sales chart debut in five years with his ninth project, Survive (P Man Music/Blacksmoke/ Smith Music Group). The eleven-track set comes in at No. 3 on this week's chart - Pugh's best chart bow since "The W.I.N. (Worship In Nassau) Experience" in 2013. Pugh's riveting title track also makes its Billboard Gospel Airplay chart entrance this week where it strolls onto the survey at No. 28 with a bullet.
Michael Bereal, who produced Pugh's prior No. 1 Billboard chart smashes "I Need Your Glory" and "Rain On Us," produced, "Survive." The soul-stirring track is currently one of the most added songs at gospel radio and gaining momentum. "I'm exited about this new project," Pugh adds. "I think this is some of my best work yet and I'm glad that it's being embraced by my fans with so much love."
In other exciting news, Pugh will receive a special recognition of his ministerial leadership from the Howard University School of Divinity on November 8th at the renowned institution's 101st Alumni Convocation in Washington, D.C.
