Annie Moses Band Releases 'What Every Child Should Know About God Volumes I & II'
From the prodigious talents of Annie Moses Band, What Every Child Should Know About God Volumes I & II releases today from Tommy & Me and ManAlive Records with distribution from The Fuel Music. The two-part album, which is meant to illuminate a child's world with truths about God and His love for us, brims with both joyful and peaceful melodies set to beloved, everlasting Scriptures.
Parents, grandparents, educators and caretakers new to the Annie Moses Band will have the opportunity to discover the faith-building emotion and Juilliard-honed musical mastery on this album that fans have come to expect from this musical family group and their award-winning songwriters Bill and Robin Wolaver.
The idea for the album was born as founder of the band, Robin Wolaver, now a grandmother, watched her offspring drink in music and messages from a barrage of modern media. She and Bill started crafting original songs that delivered the messages they wanted their grandchildren to absorb-melodies and lyrics to carry the essential truths of God.
"In a world that is glutted with entertainment options," says Robin, "It's so important that we work intentionally and artistically to win the hearts of our children for God."
Produced by Robin, Bill, Alex and Gretchen Wolaver and Annie Dupre at their brand new state-of-the-art ManAlive Studios (https://www.manalivestudios.com/) in Franklin, TN, What Every Child Should Know About God consists of two 10-song volumes, each with its own atmospheric mood. Volume I, "Joyful," showcases songs that are bright and peppy for playful moods, while Volume II, "Peaceful," offers melodies of comfort and tranquility for quiet time or bedtime.
Each song on the album was written to open a child's senses to a greater understanding of timeless biblical truths, including the exuberant "In the Beginning" and "It Is Impossible (For God To Lie)," as well as the comforting "God So Loved the World" and "God Cares About You."
"I have three daughters," shares Berklee, who acquired the album early as part of a focus group. "They love to sing and dance to the album. I've grown so tired of electronic sounds and cheap audio. What Every Child Should Know About God is not only biblical, it's also beautiful and high quality, and the acoustic instruments are natural instead of digitized. I love putting it on for them!"
What Every Child Should Know About God is the second album from the Annie Moses Band's children's brand Tommy & Me: Nurturing the Thoughtful Child. Aimed at educating, as well as entertaining children through art and music, the Tommy & Me line includes musical albums and a series of soon-to-be-released books to accompany the musical albums.
