Thousand Foot Krutch New Album 'OXYGEN:INHALE' Has Raise Over $20K on Pledge Music in Two Days
Rock band Thousand Foot Krutch are counting on their fans to help them make their new album, OXYGEN:INHALE. They chose to use a PledgeMusic campaign to raise money for their new album.
You can check out their Pledge Music page to see their rewards for donating HERE. They released an official press release sharing their plans for the new album.
"Because of the last album being funded, we were able to go in directions not traveled before in radio, press, film, and TV, and even having distribution around the world! Now, to show our support to our friends, you the TFK Army, we are going for it...this time the goal is $1. That's right, ONE DOLLAR! http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/tfk" they wrote. "Why one dollar? Because we are going to do this anyway...for you guys. The difference is that we need your help to take the marketing and promotion to a whole new level. We believe we have the best record brewing from the studio and we just need help to get it out there, because that in itself costs a lot."
The band has special exclusive, "album packaging, apparel, packages and opportunities in this new campaign in order that you, as our fans, will get this one time offer only if you PREORDER it here. AND everyone who purchases a package will get a special code to get 50% OFF at the official TFK online merch store!"
In just two days the album has already raised over $20,000 on Pledge Music for their new album, OXYGEN:INHALE. This will be the followup to the very successful 2012 release, The End is Where We Begin, which was also created through crowdfunding.
Vocalist Trevor McNevan spoke about the new album a recent interview with LoudWire saying, "The way we work is that I work on the songs when I'm at home and on the road. When those are done, me and Steve [Augustine], the drummer, and Joel [Bruyere], the bass player, get together and go through stuff. They pour themselves into the bass and drums and we go through what's best for the song and then by the time we get to the actual studio, we've done all our own pre-production," he shared. "We like to go the studio ready to track every note. That's what we did and we started tracking last week. So from now until June 20, we'll be in the studio doing that."
