BET Announces "Meet the Manns" New Reality Show with Tamela and David Mann
GRAMMY®-Award Nominated, NAACP Image Award-Winning Vocalist TAMELA MANN and NAACP Image Award-Winning Actor DAVID MANN have announced their partnership with BET Networks for their brand new show, "Meet The Manns." The reality show will premiere on BET in 2015. "Meet The Manns" is currently in production and follows the lives of the Texas-based power couple and their family as they manage their successful entertainment careers, marriage and adventures with the family.
"We're excited to announce our new television home is with BET," said Tamela and David. "BET is a great fit for the Mann brand and the perfect place for this new show. We'll take America behind the scenes of our day-to-day life, living out all our dreams as a family, at home and on the road. Of course, with 5 Mann kids, 8 grandkids, and extended relatives nearby, even the most ordinary family activities bring unexpected, outrageous results. There'll also be some news and reveals we're saving to share on the show - you'll have to tune in to find out what's in store."
The 2014 BET Awards nominations were announced recently and GRAMMY®-Award Nominated Vocalist Tamela Mann has received a BET Award nomination for 'Best Gospel Artist' for the second year in a row. Tamela's #1 single "I Can Only Imagine" also reclaimed the top spot at Gospel radio this week, for a total of eight weeks.
"I'm blessed to be honored with a BET Award nomination again this year," said Tamela. "I'm thankful for BET's support and recognition of my music, and to God be the glory that I continue to receive opportunities to share it with people across the country." The 2014 BET Awards will air live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, June 29 at 8:00p.m. EST.
Tamela will be performing at JoyFest May 24 at Carowinds in Charlotte, N.C. and July 19 at Kings Dominion in Roswell, Va. Check out here official website for all of her tour dates HERE.
Tamela's a two-time GMA Dove Award and seven-time Stellar Gospel Music Award-winning CD Best Days debuted in 2012 at #1 on several music sales charts and includes the #1 single "Take Me To The King," which earned Tamela her first GRAMMY ® Award nomination for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance. Both the CD and single remained at #1 for a record number of weeks; the CD charted at the top for 15 weeks and the single for more than 25 weeks. Tamela and David's new cooking and lifestyle show, "Hanging With The Manns," along with several other film and TV productions, will be released soon.
