Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson New Book Edition 'The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible' Coming October 2014 

"Duck Dynasty" family patriarch and Duck Commander founder, Phil Robertson is working on a new book with his son Alan titled The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible. The book will highlight different Robertson family members sharing their personal testimonies and emphasizing the family's main values: faith, family, fellowship, forgiveness and freedom. 

The book will feature specific reading plans from Phil and Alan and use the King James Version of the Bible. "This is just one more way that we can present, as ministers, the message of Jesus to the world around us," shares Phil Robertson. 

Alan shared, "One of the things Dad and I are excited about for this Bible project, is that it's timeless because it's connected to the Word of God."

Robert Sanford, Vice President and Associate Publisher (Thomas Nelsons Bible Group) shared his excitement to work with the Robertsons on their new book releasing a statement saying, "We are honored and excited to be working with Phil and Al Robertson on this new Bible," said Sanford in a statement. "The Robertson family's passion for the Word is infectious and the impact of their ministry is amazing. We see this Bible as being something people can grow with in their own personal walk with God."

The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible from Phil & Alan Robertson is scheduled to hit bookstores on October 28th.

After "Duck Dynasty" exploded on A&E to become their highest rated show ever and one of the biggest shows on all of television through Season 4, the ratings took a dip for the first time last season. The show is still plenty successful to stay on the air as long as they want to keep filming, but only time will tell if the 'duck craze' is simmering down in America. Tune into "Duck Dynasty" on A&E as they premiere Season 6 with the episode, "Governor's Travels," Wednesday June 11 at 10 pm EST.
